Please note on the payment form, you will need to remove the items you do not wish to purchase. This is the only way I can set it up for authors to enter multiple books.

Terms and Conditions  2025 GAYA

1. The Georgia Independent Author of the Year Award contest is a literary competition open to anyone who is a resident ofGeorgia and who has independently published the book they wish to enter.  All books entered must be independently published and the author must have full rights. This means the book must be self-published by the author, or published by a small, independent press wherein the author retains full rights to their book. Prior award winners are eligible to enter if they no longer reside in Georgia.
2. Each entrant understands and accepts that this is a competition, therefore an award is not guaranteed, you are competing against other entrants,entry fees are non refundable, and by making payment and submitting your book, you agree to the terms of use.

3) Our judges names and locations will not be disclosed to protect their privacy. No author is allowed to contact any judge. Feedback will not be given by any judge in the 2023 awards. . Scoresheets will not be provided to the authors. This is subject to change for the following years.

4) You may enter more than one book in the contest but each additional book will require a form and the $60 dollar fee. ENTRY FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE

5) Te entry fee for Best Cover Design in $25 ENTRY FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE

6) The contest will open January 15, 2025,  and will close April 30, 2025. Winners will be announced May 20, 2025.

7) All entrants are eligible for a guest blog post on Ga Indie Author Association website. 

8) Winner’s will be showcased on the website.

9) Entering the contest does not guarantee a win.
